Since June is the dairy month in Wisconsin, Gilman supports the occasion with their June Dairy Days which is held the 3rd weekend in June. Some of the activities of this annual event are:

The Gilman Community Betterment Association has teamed up with the Gilman Lions and Lioness Clubs to sponsor one major summer festival. This event will be held on the June Dairy Days traditional 3rd weekend in June, this year on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of June. Gilman Cheese Corporation will sponsor Friday night's music. The concession stands will be open for food and beverages. Saturday and Sunday will feature the traditional 2-day softball tournament, Sunday chicken dinner and parade, and a host of new & previous events.
Each year the Fourth of July celebration in Jump River,
Wisconsin draws over 3,000 people to this small community
north of Gilman in Taylor County. It features a
huge parade of 70-90 entries, a Mini Rod Pull, and an hour long
fireworks display in the evening. Each year there is lots of
entertainment, plenty delicious food and a fun day
for the entire family.

The Annual Perkinstown Snowshoe Race is a one-day winter
adventure at the Perkinstown Winter Sports Area. Hundreds of runners
and walkers will snowshoe along scenic trails that twist their way
through the Chequamegon National Forest.
